ADVERTISING ON MOBILE DEVICES IN RUSSIA

The outreach of mobile users in Russia shows a 64% growth. This comprises users of both tablets and mobile phones. The share of online purchases from mobile terminals amounts to 44%. Experts forecast a much stronger use intensity of mobile devices in coming years, so that mobile advertising should be necessarily considered.  

Targeting on WiFi networks is worthwhile as well, at least in big cities. Unlike in Germany, there is free access to the wireless Internet for mobile devices in many public places in Russia.
